Divi Drag and Drop WordPress Theme

Elegant Themes just released a drag and drop WordPress Theme Page builder, and I have to say that it is absolutely excellent. Now you can create custom page layouts and have them look exactly how you intended. No shortcodes, no strange formatting or odd menus. The whole experience with Divi is straight forward and easy to understand. Working With the Divi Drag and Drop WordPress Theme is a cake walk after dealing with some of those Themeforest WordPress Themes I have worked with in the past. They never work right, or they require 10 plugins in order to work like they are supposed to, weighing down your server. You know as well as I do, that the more plugins you install in a WordPress site, the harder your server will work and your page speed and load times will increase. The Divi Drag and Drop WordPress Theme is light, fast, and highly customizable.

I am an Elegant Themes member, because they have a lot of really awesome themes, so I had a chance to really dig into the Divi Drag and Drop WordPress Theme. In the video below, I’ll show you how the page builder works. It’s so easy, and you don’t have to know anything about WordPress development. If you are a novice with WordPress, but you can click buttons and fill out simple forms (which should be anyone) then you can develop awesome, responsive pages in WordPress with Divi.

Thoughts on the Divi Drag and Drop WordPress Theme

I create my own custom WordPress Themes. I develop themes for clients, and I use frameworks such as Foundation and Bootstrap, so I know the ins and outs of development. I marveled at the ease that I could create a multi column layout, or implement an image slider at the top of the site. I could actually put it anywhere. I could create a parallax-style effect, or drop in a custom call to action. I could also drop in a portfolio section, and determine what category showed up. The ability to customize your pages just how you want them is absolutely unreal! I am working on a site right now (Coming soon) and I am finding that building it is incredibly fast, it behaves how I expect, it loads fast, and I have complete control. I don’t know what else to say except you have to work with it on your own to see how great it really is. The ability to choose from existing page templates as a base and save your own for later is awesome, plus you can export those layouts to other sites. If I had to describe Divi in one phrase, it would have to be Game Changing – Period.
